God is good! My Catholic upbringing, nurtured by the Sacraments and my loving parents, has been a rock and fount of grace throughout my life. They were constants as my family moved from city to city and I attended school after school. While I was at Xavier University studying for my degree in business administration, God deemed it necessary for me to meet the righteous men and women of Life After Sunday. Through their example I have learned to openly accept God's will in my life. By His grace I have matured from passive reception of modernity's expectation of the sexual experience into an ardent believer in God's divine plan for the entire human person.

I graduated in May 2009 and headed home to Omaha, Nebraska. After a year of working for US Bank I have returned to Cincinnati to teach His message of chastity through the "In Control" program. The path may be long, and we may be unsure of the way...but we can always be consoled because:

"He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, in order that by them you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust." 2 Peter 1:4

I grew up practicing my Catholic faith in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. Throughout my life, God blessed me with faith-filled friends and family who nurtured and encouraged my growth in relationship with Christ and the Church. In 2008, I graduated from Butler University in Elementary and Special Education and proceeded to teach in the Cincinnati area for the past 3 years.

Blessed Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body teaching entered my life about 2 years ago, when I went to hear Christopher West speak. There I found the words for what my heart knew all along, as well as a new mission to learn as much as I could and help others understand this life-changing teaching of the Church. This affected my relationships with others in a powerful way and was a building block for my relationship with my husband. We have been married for about a year and have a baby on the way! I am very excited to be involved with the In Control program this year and hope to lead others toward choosing a life lived chastely for Christ.
